I have a chat with Sihle Ngobese (Big Daddy Liberty), Host of the The Big Daddy Liberty Show and proud Zulu, about what he calls "the biggest social disaster faced by South Africa today" - households without fathers. According to a recent Stats SA report, almost 70% of black South African children live without their biological dads at home. In South Africa 31.7% of black children stayed with their biological fathers, compared to 51.3% of coloured children, 86.1% of Indian/Asian children and 80.2% of white children.
